To set an Alert, you can do so through the Alerts Center here: https://www.barchart.com/my/alerts  . You can set News Alerts or Price Alerts. Once you are done setting up an Alert, click on "Save" to activate the Alert.

Please note that for My Barchart users, you can only set one price alert per symbol (based on the symbol last price). Premier members can create unlimited alerts, including those based on technicals, volume, price change, and Barchart Opinion. These advanced alerts allow for compound settings, such as "price change greater than 5% and TrendSpotter equals Buy". Premier Members may also optionally receive price alerts via SMS text message.
